Secure Calc integrates seamlessly into Excel's working environment.
Several cells in a spreadsheet are marked for later encryption (blue lock icon).
You can specify the working areas that should be encrypted.
In addition to being encrypted, workbooks can also be protected with the methods "Password", "Activation" and/or "Time Limit".
The protection method "Time Limit" enables you to set a time period or a specific date until which the protected workbook is usable.
You can also specify how the current date should be determined on the end user's computer.
Workbooks protected by Secure Calc’s "Activation" method can only be calculated on specific computers, i.e. those workbooks need to be "activated" for every computer they should run on. The following screen appears whenever a user tries to calculate a workbook protected with the “Activation” method and the workbook has not yet been activated for that computer.
The anonymization function of Secure Calc removes hidden confidential data from your Excel workbooks before you distribute them to external people.
