Andreas Zelezny
Chief Executive Officer Andy Zelezny (35) studied Business Informatics (with distinction) and Law in Vienna, Austria. During and after his studies, he worked for several years at "Big Four" auditing and consulting companies in Europe (Vienna, Paris, Munich, and Moscow). He successfully passed the exams for Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). He is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). |

Wolfgang Zelezny
Director Research & Development Wolfgang Zelezny (34) is responsible for research and development at Praetorians. He possesses several years of work experience in the IT business and was in charge of the IT services at one of the leading media companies in Austria. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in computer science. |
Facts and Figures
Founded in 2004, Praetorians is still a young but ambitious company in the IT business. Both founders, the brothers Andreas and Wolfgang Zelezny, concentrate their expertise on a steadily growing segment: data and information security. The mission is to produce reliable and comprehensive protection of information.
The first product of Praetorians, the security software solution "Secure Calc", ensures that sensitive data in Excel applications are secured by a professional, customizable, but at the same time easy to use encryption method. That way, financial and image losses can be avoided. Secure Calc is the worldwide leading security solution for Excel.
The mission is symbolized by the company's name "Praetorians": The guards of the Roman emperors were called Praetorians. A profession that required trust and reliability. And that is also what Praetorians aims to be: your trustful and reliable partner in all areas of information security.
Our products are characterized by the following features and concepts:
